The Village 2 and Under encourages the active involvement of families and all children
in the learning environment. Highly qualified early childhood education staff work to
provide a variety of language rich experiences. Our primary source for infant curriculum
is Beyond Cribs and Rattles. The toddler curriculum is based on The Creative
Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers. Both curricula are research based. Outcomes are
reached when children select and carry out activities that are fun and motivating learning
experiences with special emphasis on language and literacy skill development.
Developmental milestones and behavioral observations will be documented via prints and
photographs and shared with parents.

Our rooms are arranged with distinct, well-equipped interest or learning centers.
Children engage in a consistent daily schedule that is designed between child-choice and
teacher directed learning activities. The activities are balanced with active and quiet
discovery and indoor/outdoor play times.
